Gaspar helps Brandy win the main role in the upcoming play after Margo rigs Brandy's audition and wins the lead.

- The title is a spoof of the film "Dog Day Afternoon".
- In this episode, it is revealed Margo has blue eyes (other examples being things such as the "Loathe Triangle" title card). In "The No Sleep Over" however, for a second she is seen with brown eyes.
- Brandy and Margo mention that they do not like mustard in their sandwiches, this is a joke from the writers of the program towards Natasha Kopp who was a producer of the program who did not like mustard in her food.
Errors[]
- Mr. Whiskers' play script reads "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers Script", it is supposed to not have a cover page (unlike the error), just show the lines. It also incorrectly writes the name of the show's title, the actual name of it is spelled with an "&" not "and".
