Mr. Whiskers' First Friend is the 1st episode of Season 1 of Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. It aired on August 21, 2004.
Synopsis
The episode starts out with Mr. Whiskers stuck in a dirty brown bag trying to escape for fresh air. When he finally does, he hears someone singing. The singing comes from a dog kennel with the word "Brandy" on it. Whiskers knocks on it and asks what her name is. She tells him he should read the word on her kennel and Whiskers reads it as "Bratty". She bursts out of her kennel and tells him her name isn't "Bratty" and that it is "Brandy Harrington of the Florida Harringtons". In response, Whiskers sarcastically says that "Bratty" was pretty close.
Brandy explains to him that she is on her way to a luxurious spa to be pampered and treated like royalty. Whiskers hands a note to her and she explains to him that he is on his way to a zoo in Paraguay to be sold for 39 cents and gives a loud laugh. When she asks Whiskers to find her some light, he accidentally opens the emergency escape hatch, which sends both of them flying out with some suitcases and they end up in the Amazon Rainforest.
Later, Brandy trades with a scheming lizard named Gaspar Le Gecko for a map and in return, he will get Mr. Whiskers to eat.
Brandy tries to find her way out of the forest, but soon realizes that she genuinely cares and feels sorry for Whiskers. With the help of Lola Boa, Brandy goes to rescue him.
The episode concludes with Brandy and Mr. Whiskers in their treehouse as they set up a double-bunk with a giant bikini that Whiskers found from a hippopotamus.

- When Brandy and Mr. Whiskers fall out of the plane, it is a parody of the 1941 Bugs Bunny cartoon The Heckling Hare.
